Introduction to the Runes

Join our resident Norseman, Fern Deadwick, for an introductory course on runic divination. Using folklore, historical texts, and archaeology, as a guide, this class will lay the groundwork for building a deeper relationship with the runes as a divination tool. Bringing a set of runes is encouraged, but not required.

Fern Deadwick is a practicing witch and pagan in the Old Norse animist tradition. As a result, they are something of an amateur historian. They are a student of the runes, a card reader, and work heavily with the spirit realm in the reconstructed magic tradition of their ancestors.

Classes will take place at the Deadwick's Common Room, 19 Sheafe St., Portsmouth, NH and will run approximately an hour and a half to two hours. Please arrive promptly at 6pm, and allow time for parking. Guests attending via Zoom will be emailed a class link prior to the class.
