Introduction to the Wheel of the Year: Creating Magic through the Seasons

Join Heathcliff in learning about the Witch’s Wheel of the Year! This class will cover Solstices, Equinoxes, and Cross Quarter Sabbats that make up the modern Wheel of the Year. Understanding how the Wheel of the Year turns allows us to become more in touch with nature and the world around us. We will discuss each Sabbat individually as well as look at how they all relate to each other. For each Sabbat, we will learn a bit of the history behind the holiday and the ways they are celebrated today.
With Midsummer just after this class, we will be discussing an outline for a Midsummer ritual you can do at home!

Heathcliff Deadwick practices eclectic Paganism and deity work. He works primarily with Thor and the Morrigan, as well as others. He enjoys learning about new topics and is always excited to share his knowledge!

Classes will take place at the Deadwick's Common Room, 19 Sheafe St., Portsmouth, NH and will run approximately an hour and a half. Please arrive promptly at 6pm, and allow time for parking. Guests attending via Zoom will be emailed a class link prior to the class.
