Working with the Morrigan: Meeting the Raven Goddess
Monday, June 23 at 6pm
In Person and via Zoom $44 per person
Join Fae and Heathcliff for an introduction to the Irish battle Goddess, the Morrigan. Learn her history, how Fae and Heathcliff work with her personally, and how she may fit into your personal practice. The Morrigan is an Irish Goddess of sovereignty and battle, and is often associated with crows and ravens. She is a threefold Goddess, named in irish texts as the Morrigan, and her sisters Macha and Badb (and sometimes as Macha, Badb and Anu, and less often as Macha, Badb and Nemain). Learn how Fae and Heathcliff interpret the Morrigan's battle energy for present times, as a powerful protector and symbol of empowerment and strength.
Fae Deadwick is Deadwicks' curator, and resident vampire crow witch. She is a priestess of the Morrigan, working primarily with Badb. She has been dedicated to the Morrigan for over 20 years. Her magical practice focuses primarily on protection magic, faery magic and candle magic.
Heathcliff Deadwick practices eclectic Paganism and deity work. He works primarily with Thor and the Morrigan (in her Macha aspect), as well as Skadi. He enjoys learning about new topics and is always excited to share his knowledge!
Classes will take place at the Deadwick's Common Room, 19 Sheafe St., Portsmouth, NH and will run approximately an hour and a half to two hours. Please arrive promptly at 6pm, and allow time for parking. Guests attending via Zoom will be emailed a class link prior to the class.
